We are starting Mum and Toddler Yoga classes in April. The classes are a fun and loving way to help your child learn and to improve their development.
Studies have found that young children learn through play and need at least 30 minutes of structured physical activity a day. This class gives you a great way to engage with you child through the practice of yoga.
The focus of the class is for Mum and toddler to spend time together. To enjoy playing yoga games, relax together and have lots of hugs! After class we’ll take some time to have a cup of tea and chat with other Mum’s while Elaine reads the toddlers a story.
So make sure you can tolerate noise and giggles. It’s more fun focused than yoga pose focused. I will also do some lovely relaxation but it may take a few sessions for children to get used to the idea of relaxing.
The yoga class is 30 minutes long. Then we allow a further 30 minutes for a cup of tea and a story for the kids.
