This 10 minute guided meditation for children explores how they can regulate their feelings.
I will walk you through the whole meditation… from how to focus your thoughts in stillness… to thinking about positive feelings.
I help children to choose a feeling that they are comfortable with. And I help them to understand how they can get back to that feeling if they are thrown off course by sadness or anger.
I use this meditation in many of my classes. I get great feedback, particularly from older children who recognise that they might feel like they are in a bad mood but don’t have the tools to shake that feeling. This gives them a way to find how they want to feel and behave.
